John grew up in Mississauga as the son of a builder. John made an early decision to follow his father in the building business and built his first home in 1976 at the age of 16 during the summer school break. Graduating from the University of Colorado in 1984 with a business degree, John went to work full time in his father's Land Development and Construction business.  John was involved with property management, residential land development and servicing, high-rise residential apartment construction and custom home building.

John is married with three teenage children.  John loves all outdoor sports, especially Alpine Skiing, Golf and Triathlon.  John has been involved with numerous Directorships on Commercial and Non-Profit Boards of Directors.  From 1997-1999 John was President of the Orangeville and District Homebuilders Association and a Committee member for the Ontario Homebuilders Association.  John spent 8 years as a member of the Town of Orangeville Economic Development Committee.  John and Sunvale Homes have contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to Orangeville minor sports, Charities, the Headwaters Hospital and the Town of Orangeville Downtown revitalization project.

In 1996, John incorporated Sunvale Homes and started forming alliances with the key Sunvale personnel listed below. Since 1996 Sunvale Homes has built homes for over 1,000 very satisfied families. Sunvale Homes started off and continues to work in Orangville, but projects are underway in Mono, Shelburne and Collingwood.  Every year since registration with Tarion Warranty Corporation, Sunvale Homes has received the prestigious President's Award for Customer Service Excellence and Sunvale Homes has received the Greater Chamber of Commmerce Award for Homebuilder Excellence 2 out of the 3 times it has been awarded.

 

Don Tremble

Don has been working in the new home business since 1980.  Don started at the bottom step and has been through all aspects of the home construction, sales and after sale service of the business.  Don owns his own Tarion registered home construction company which has achieved a Tarion excellence rating every year since its inception.  Don is a people person and loves dealing with everyone from the construction and customer sides of the business.  Don has been actively staying at the leading edge of construction technology through constant upgrading of his skills and knowledge at the Ontario Homebuilders Association.  Don was a founding member of the Saugeen Homebuilders Association and a past President of the same organization.

Off the site, Don is a former Junior hockey player now involved in the management side of high level hockey.  Don is married with two sons.  Don's two sons have launched their own careers, one as a professional and the other in the construction business.

 

Cynthia Nevidomskis


Cynthia Nevidomskis
Vice President, Sales

Cynthia brings with her 24 years of hands on experience in the real estate industry and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Cynthia has lived in and enjoyed the Orangeville and Mono communities since 1982. Her partnership with Sunvale Homes started in 1996 and she has found the exciting fast pace of new home sales to be the area of real estate which interests her the most! With the Real Estate Industry constantly changing, Cynthia is always updating her knowledge by attending continuing education courses.

When not at work Cynthia enjoys spending time in her Sunvale Home with her husband and two children. Leisure time is spent horseback riding and showing with her daughter; being her son's greatest fan at hockey and lacrosse games; running with her husband and faithful dog; swimming and catching up with friends. Presently, Cynthia is active in the Ministry & Personnel Committee at her Church and enjoys spending time at the local trade shows.

Donna Gill-Purdy

Donna is a sales and decor consultant and has been part of the  Sunvale Homes Sales Team since January 0f 1999. Meeting people and helping them to realize their dream home is something Donna finds very rewarding.  Her career has spanned various aspects of the Customer Service and Human Resources field.   She has been a licensed real estate representative  in Dufferin County since 1990. "Customer Care" is extremely important to Donna and she firmly believes that the littlest things often make the biggest difference in life.

Donna is bilingual, and obtained a diploma in French Language and Civilization Studies at The Sorbonne, University of Paris, while living overseas in France.   As a result, she loves to travel and is intrigued by European culture and cuisine.

As a mother of two teenaged children, Donna enjoys an active home life which is never dull and shares in their interests of music, art and dance.

Personal interests include music, reading, cooking, gardening and being creative at home.  Recently Donna has become a volunteer at a local long term care nursing home.  Listening to the fascinating stories of residents fuels her interest in local history and is a natural outlet for her cheerful nature and love of people.

 

Trina Stevens

Trina is a sales and decor consultant with Sunvale Homes, having joined the sales team in 2003, bringing with her a background in sales, customer service and design. As well as having completed her education in Graphic Design at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology,  she is a certified Interior Decorator.   Prior to joining the Sunvale team, Trina spent many years in the customer service industry as well as working independently in the design field. Trina firmly believes and demonstrates that customer service and appreciation are essential and meeting the clients needs are a priority in both the service and decor aspect of the homebuying process.

Trina finds it especially satisfying to build a working relationship with clients,  helping them to personalize their chosen home design and select the décor that will make one of our homes theirs.

During her time away from the office, Trina enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 3 young children in her own Sunvale Home.  Trina also enjoys outdoor activities, creating artwork, cheering on her children at gymnastics and karate, and when time allows reading a good book in front of the fire. Trina has taken an active role in fundraising at her children’s school and is very involved with the Parent Council and its’ various committees.

 


Diane Hardy

Construction

Diane is the Office Manager for the Construction Department at Sunvale Homes. Diane is the administrative key person for Don Tremble. Diane has over 10 years experience working with homebuilders in the Orangeville market. Diane started working at Sunvale in 1996. From 1997 - 1999 Diane was the Executive Officer of the Orangeville District Homebuilders Association.

Diane and her family live in Grand Valley. Diane is a tireless volunteer for the recreation in Grand Valley, she has been President of the Grand Valley figure skating club, and is involved in Grand Valley minor hockey and softball.
