John Welton & Sunvale Homes

John grew up in Mississauga as the son of a builder. John made a decision early to follow in his father's footsteps and built his first home in 1976 at age 16 during summer school break. Graduating from the University of Colorado in 1984 with a major in Finance and a minor in Real Estate, John went to work full time in the office at the family business in Mississauga. From 1984 to 1996, before incorporating Sunvale Homes, John was involved with custom home building, residential land development and servicing, high-rise residential apartment construction and retail commercial and office construction.

John is married with three teenage children. John loves all outdoor sports and regularly competes in Alpine ski racing and Triathlon. John has been involved with numerous directorships on Commercial and Non Profit Boards of Directors. From 1997 -1999 John was President of the Orangeville and District Homebuilders Association, sat on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Homebuilders Association and was on the Land Development Committee of the Ontario Home Builders Association. Presently John is a sitting member of the Town of Orangeville Economic Development Committee.

In 1996 John incorporated Sunvale Homes and started forming alliances with the key Sunvale personnel listed below. Since 1996 Sunvale Homes has built homes for over 900 very satisfied families. Sunvale Homes started off and continues to work in Orangville, but new projects are underway in Mono, Fergus, Shelburne and Collingwood.



   
  Don Tremble  
   

Don Tremble

Don is Vice President of Sunvale Homes. Don started in construction 18 years ago doing purchasing and scheduling for one of the largest builder and developers in Guelph. Don was responsible for supervising 4 sites and 4 construction superintendents building over 500 houses per year. After 9 years working for others, Don moved from Guelph to Durham and formed his own company, Candue Homes. Don has been an ONHWP excellent rated builder for 15 years. When the opportunity to work for Sunvale came up in 1996 Don was ready to jump back into the challenge of large-scale production housing once again. Don has been actively staying at the leading edge of construction technology through constant upgrading of his skills and knowledge at the Ontario Homebuilders Association. Don was a founding member of the Saugeen Homebuilders Association and a past President of the same organization.

Off the site Don is a former Junior B hockey player watching the progress of his two sons in hockey. Don is a past President of the Durham Minor Hockey Association and spends time playing and coaching as well. Don's younger son, Jason Tremble, is a rising star stock car racer and on his time off Don can be seen at the Ontario Stock Car Race scene.



   
  Cynthia Nevidomskis  
   

Cynthia Nevidomskis

Cynthia is Vice President of Sales with Sunvale Homes. She brings with her 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Cynthia has lived in and enjoyed the Orangeville community since 1982. Cynthia started working with Sunvale Homes in 1996 and has found the exciting fast pace of new home sales to be the area of real estate which interests her the most! With the Real Estate Industry constantly changing, Cynthia is always updating her knowledge by attending continuing education courses.

When not at work Cynthia enjoys spending time in her Sunvale Home with her husband and two children. Leisure time is spent horseback riding, hiking with her dogs, swimming and catching up with friends. Presently, Cynthia is active in the Ministry & Personnel Committee at her Church and enjoys spending time at the local trade shows.

  Diane Hardy  
   

Neil Watson

Neil spent 6 summers working as a framer and carpenter for Sunvale, before joining them full time after college. He graduated from Fanshawe College in the Architectural Technology program in 2004 and has brought new and fresh ideas to Sunvale.

Neil has continued his studies and is a qualified and registered designer under the new building code act of 2006. Neil's experience allows Sunvale to modify and tailor their homes to the buyers individual taste. Neil takes time to meet one on one with Sunvale's clients/customers to review and customize their new home blueprints.

Neil enjoys many outdoor sports and has spent the past two winters volunteering his time coaching Minor Hockey in Markdale. Neil currently resides in Eugenia.
